Hi, I'm Darren.

I live on Hayling Island on the sunny South Coast of the UK with my beautiful wife Rachel and two sons. I grew up here; it’s a small but beautiful place so I spent most of my childhood playing outdoors, both on the beach and in the sea. Now I’m in my late 30s, I more or less try to do the same thing - with a bit of adulting when required!

I've always loved taking photos and video... growing up I was always told off for filling up rolls of film in a day or running off with my dads camcorder to make a video!

I starting taking photography and video seriously many years later. In 2012, I began working as a videographer on personal projects, weddings and a few commercial clients. This also rekindled my love for photography and I began taking landscapes of Hayling Island and the surrounding areas.

After being told, “These are great, you should sell them” countless times, I started selling my first prints in 2018. Years later, here we are!

When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me messing around with the kids, trail running or surfing... hopefully!
